Anchor Lodge Motel - Coromandel

The tranquility and beautiful gardens truly made our stay special! The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice little patio to enjoy the views. Just a bummer that the walls were a bit thin. 🌼

The room was extremely pleasant and well-appointed with a comfy bed. It was in a very central location, to local cafes etc...

As for me, the area was disgusting.

Everything was perfect and the staff was very welcoming. Hotel's room was neat and huge with a scenic view out across the bay. We loved a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and a microwave oven.

Relaxing and great venue, magnificent location so close to the harbour and mountains as well as the rain forest. Neat and huge rooms and good size bathrooms. Exceptionally comfortable bed, an electric kettle, a microwave oven and central heating.

We celebrated my partner's birthday at the anchor, and it was very good! The spa and pool were amazing, and the super nice team and cute. Loved that each unit had unique names, ours was "last resort," .

The bathroom lacked sufficient hooks and tissues!!! Minor storage problems left luggage cluttering the floor instead of a proper space. The furniture, while adequate, felt more suited for a backpacker than a family stay!!!

Charming yet Cozy Retreat

The friendly staff was nice. While the room had lovely decor, future guests should note the slight challenge of maneuvering bags through the garden. Ensure your plans accommodate the limited wifi.

It was just a strong match for a getaway in Coromandel with fantastic value for money. The spa pool was enjoyable and offered a nice way to unwind. Make sure to check the DVD player is working before settling in.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We explored the fine beach and the nearby hiking trails. The place was just perfect for relaxation, and the outdoor spa pool was a hit after our adventures. The staff were super friendly and helpful-they even provided sheets for us before heading to another location. Expect a cozy stay with great service.

The WiFi was pretty disappointing, making it tough to stay connected and plan some activities.

Room ten impressed with its spacious layout and cozy furnishings, complemented by a pleasant shower and a private balcony amidst lush greenery. The quiet ambiance next to the forest allowed for a restful stay. Some amenities showed signs of wear, and clearer instructions would have enhanced the experience. The proximity to the village was convenient.

The hotel was fine, with beautifully maintained gardens that was like a tropical escape. The cabins were well-designed. Customer service stood out, as the host welcomed us warmly, immediately making us feel at home. I also enjoyed the amazing mountain view, which enhanced the serene atmosphere.
